On Writing

I'm taking a writing class.

Memoir and the Personal Essay 1.

The first class was on Tuesday and it seems good.  Of course I didn't do the exercise until today, and we meet again tomorrow.

I really like the reading assignments, and I'm getting interesting in reading.  I even read a fictional story in the New Yorker over the weekend.

Blogging is one thing, but Writing seems to be another.

I've never had any desire to write a novel, or any fiction.  But I've always wanted to write a book.  For some reason.

I recently discovered the category "Creative Non Fiction".  This is what my bookshelves are full of.  This is what I like to read.  I didn't know it had a name.

I recently discovered the first book on writing I like, Word after Word by Heather Sellers, I'm nearing the end so I looked at her website, and ordered the sequel Chapter after Chapter.  It is about writing books.
