I'm not going anywhere right now. But a friend of mine is, and she's been asking for advice about how to possibly pack for a year away that involves, hiking, studying, and travel. So I've been looking around the Internet for blogs to pass along, and came across this one about packing for a research year abroad, where someone comments that her plan sounds like a great "capsule wardrobe" for anyone, even if they're not going away. So I'm going to study it more, and try to "pack" for a year myself since I'm writing about how to live in small spaces right now, and need to get rid of things and make sure any new things I get are really needed since I'm also actually doing it.
Over here is another great looking post, this one by a woman on an around the world career break. And another one subtitled "the art of leaving things behind." Between these posts, I think she'll be good to go.
